Did you know the average age of menopause is 51 and perimenopause can begin 10 years before?  Many women are beginning to experience symptoms in their late thirties!

The Mama Coach Women’s Health programs are unique!  As nurses, we have the skill set and expertise to ensure you feel heard, and supported, and achieve positive outcomes with your health. 

We have created The Mama Coach Model™️ developed after reviewing over 500 research-based sources!  Our Model has 4 pillars below, all leading you toward optimal health.  Our nurses will thoroughly assess each component, and then build a customized plan catered to your personal health – moving through the layers as slowly or quickly as you would like.


Weight gain is a common complaint in perimenopause and menopause and the advice from other healthcare providers is often, "eat less and move more." This is unfair as it doesn't address what is happening in your body at a deeper level. We will focus on 8 components to help you feel nourished, enjoy your food choices, and teach you how to eat to optimize your health.


Exercise needs to look different for perimenopausal and menopausal women. Whatever stage of fitness you are in, we will help you meet your goals. Whether you have never exercised, or are in the gym consistently, we are here to help.​

Pillar three: wellness factors

A woman's sleep can really suffer during perimenopause and menopause. Yet, it doesn't have to! We can help you find the rest you need. Imagine a consistent, full eight hours of sleep each night. Sleep is only one of four components to make up this pillar. There are many choices you can make to move you closer to your goals with our support.

Pillar four: integration

This pillar focuses on working with your healthcare team to find the support you need. Did you know Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is used incorrectly, underutilized, and/or feared by many healthcare providers? We will provide a thorough assessment and educate you on how HRT may help your symptoms, improve your quality of life, and PREVENT major illnesses, such as dementia, heart disease and osteoporosis. We also have NPs on our team who can prescribe HRT if necessary (in certain States and Provinces).

Everything we do as nurses is based on assessment:

  • After performing a thorough assessment in each focus area, we will work together to set goals and build a care plan to help you achieve them.
  • Every piece of the puzzle is integral to your overall health.

Each member of our team is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) (or sitting for the exam in the next 6 months). We are committed to making sure you feel heard, and supported, and that you see results.
