Bio

I'm Nikki, a mother of 4, currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, though my roots trace back to New York City. Back in 1998, well before the era of social media, I embarked on my journey into motherhood, admittedly quite clueless. Determined to gain knowledge, I frequented bookstores and libraries, devouring every piece of literature on pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, toddlers, and early childhood. Armed with this wealth of information, I felt fully prepared as I confidently walked into the hospital for the birth of my first child. I was able to make well-informed, evidence-based decisions regarding my care, and I continued to rely on those books as valuable references throughout my journey into parenthood. Fast forward to 2009 when I became a nurse and entered the field of obstetrics straight out of school. By then, the internet had become a dominant force, and I assumed that the abundance of information available would empower every woman to have a confident childbirth and parenting experience like mine. However, I soon realized that amidst the vast sea of information, there was an equally overwhelming amount of misinformation. I sympathize with the women who found themselves bewildered by this information overload. In my practice, I am dedicated to providing mothers with evidence-based information, empowering them to make the best decisions for both themselves and their children. I firmly believe that knowledge is a potent source of power, capable of instilling confidence and alleviating anxieties.
