I live in Edmonton, AB, have been a Registered Nurse for over 13 years and am eager to support you, a new or expecting parent, during one of the most exciting yet stressful times in your life. I’m passionate about helping you because I’ve been there. In 2015, my husband and I welcomed our first daughter. Despite feeling ready for everything and having the perfect plan for how it would all go, nothing went as we planned. My water spontaneously broke and she was delivered 5 weeks early which required us to spend a few weeks in the NICU. I was overcome by the challenges that came with having a premature baby. I, perhaps just like you, was overwhelmed with the volume and contradictory nature of much of the information out there and didn’t feel like I knew where to turn. Luckily, I came across The Mama Coach and was able to receive clear, personalized information and hands-on support on feeding, sleeping and more which helped me survive such a challenging time. From these experiences, I grew a real passion and interest in helping new moms and babies thrive without having to go through the uncertainty and frustrations I did. Becoming a Mama Coach has enabled me to support families in this way and I can’t wait to connect with you.
