Hey Mama! So glad you’re here. I’m Karie – a wife, mama of 3, wellness seeker, homesteader, Registered Nurse, and Certified Lactation Counselor, from North Central Pennsylvania here to serve all the mamas and families! I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2010 with lots of experience, including inpatient critical care, orthopedics, outpatient surgery, and most recently, family practice & pediatrics. I started pursuing my passion to serve and help mamas & babies with breastfeeding and breast pumping and became a Certified Lactation Counselor in 2022. In my continuous pursuit of all things natural health and natural living, a fire to help was ignited in me after I first learned about what breastfeeding really is and what it means, and experienced my own breastfeeding struggles as a new mother. In the midst of my struggles, I dialed up all my mom friends for help, all with differing advice, and turned to the world wide web, which left me even more confused. In today’s obstetrics and pediatric offices, the time is greatly lacking to give mothers and babies the support and education desperately needed. I recognize these gaps on every level and desire to fill the void to serve mamas and their families and be a sound and safe guide and support needed at the most special and critical times of motherhood and being a parent.
