Hello, I’m Doreen, mother of 2 (four when you count my furbabies) and Registered Nurse for more than 20 years. Although my career started in ICU my background has mainly been in Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Obstetrics, Mother/Baby unit(post-partum) and Newborn Nursery. My passion is helping guide new families into their most challenging and rewarding role. I have learned as a nurse and mother that bombarding new families with education in their short hospital stay is not the most effective teaching methods. This is what led me to starting my mama coach journey. My own motherhood journey included two high risk pregnancies, a rough post partum recovery and several breastfeeding challenges.
