I am a registered nurse with almost 12 years of experience. I currently work on a busy labour and delivery unit here in Winnipeg. I have worked in maternal and newborn health for a total of 6 years in both Manitoba and Ontario, 2 years in teen health and 4 years pediatric neurology specializing in Rett Syndrome both in Houston, Texas. I am a wife, and a mother of 2 little girls. I am also a former NICU mom twice over. Learning from my experience as a nurse and then as a patient, I hope to help parents find that sense of support and community that is so sorely often missing during the transition to parenthood. I strive to support families in becoming confident in their own abilities by creating a plan that best suits their unique set of circumstances. Becoming a parent is a time of great change that can be incredibly stressful. My goal is to help ease some of that stress by showing families that they are exactly what their baby needs!
