Hi! I’m Britteny. I’m a Mother, Wife, Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. When I was pregnant with my first baby I thought life with a newborn would be a breeze with all of my education and NICU experience. Boy, was I wrong! This mothering business is hard work and there are a lot of challenges that can pop up along the way that I was never exposed to in the NICU environment. Along with a strong dose of humility, my postpartum experience made me realize first-hand the lack of support many new mothers face in society today when leaving the hospital. So, I decided to take my nursing skills and apply them to my practice at The Mama Coach! I provide families with individualized, evidence-based advice, education and support.
