Breastfeeding During Covid-19

Being a mama can be stressful.
Being a mama during a pandemic is stressful times a million.
We want to keep our babies safe, and I have had so many questions about breastfeeding during this time.
Whether you have Covid-19, maybe you have some symptoms, or maybe you feel okay… KEEP BREASTFEEDING.
None of the evidence is showing that the virus is transmitted through breast milk.

It’s really important to maintain the utmost in hygiene because you could transmit it to your baby while you are nursing, by accidentally coughing, sneezing or spreading respiratory droplets.

✅wash your hands before you touch your baby or your breasts
✅wear clean clothes! We know babies love to rub their fingers over your shirt or sweater while nursing
✅if you’re coughing or sneezing, consider pumping and getting someone well to give babe a bottle.. but keep pumping!
✅sterilize all bottles and pump parts after each use.

If you feel overwhelmed, join me for my webinar this Friday at 10 am MST. I will be talking more in depth about this.. plus talking common breastfeeding issues and how to overcome them. I know many of you are working though some breastfeeding challenges, and aren’t able to get to your usual supports.
My webinar will be about 1.5 hours, include an ebook, and email support from me❤️
